ZestyPOS – SaaS Restaurant POS Project

Project overview

ZestyPOS is a multi-tenant SaaS point-of-sale for restaurants, designed to run smoothly on mobile, tablet, and desktop with a responsive UI. It streamlines order management, table management, financial management, user/role management, and a customizable menu so outlets can serve faster, reduce errors, and see their numbers in real time.

The challenge of project

Restaurants need a POS that:

  1. Captures orders quickly with minimal taps and mistakes.
  2. Reflects the live dining room (available/occupied tables) and supports fast table moves.
  3. Tracks revenue, taxes, and payments accurately for day-end close.
  4. Enforces staff permissions and accountability.
  5. Lets managers update menus (items, prices, availability) without downtime.
  6. Scales from single cafés to multi-branch operations.

What We Built

  1. Quick create/update for dine-in / takeaway / delivery.
  2. Items, quantity edits, notes, basic modifiers, discounts, and voids with reason capture.
  3. Order statuses (open, sent, paid) and printable receipts/KOT.
  4. Split payment basics (cash/card/mixed) and bill reprints.

  2. Seat new guests, move orders between tables, merge/unmerge tables (where enabled).
  3. Visual indicators and filters to speed host and waiter actions.
